Blogpost 7: "What Does Old People Think About YOLO"

We all know that YOLO is very familiar for the teenagers. But how about those people who are already getting old? Can they still cope in this phrase? Are they still affected by this trends? Are they still updated? I've created this blog to know if the oldies are still following the current events that is happening in the society. Let us know this by, reading the articles below.

The first article I read is titled "You Only Live Once" by Pam Rehart in retirewithicm.com. In this blog the author shared her experience regarding the phrase. She stated that, "I find that I apply the YOLO principle to my life much more now than I did when I was younger." She lost both of her parents and her sibling was only of 11 months. Probably, that's the reason why she didn't mind of having fun in her early age. Because she already had responsibilities. That's why when she got old, she pushed her self to have fun. And live the life to the fullest.

The second article that i read is titled "Super Classy Parents And Grandfather Charged With Giving 23-Month-Old Weed, Because YOLO" by Frances Locke in mommyish.com. This article states a story about two teen parents, and their grandfather who were arrested because, they helpes the teens smoke marijuana. They were charged with second-degree reckless endangement and endangering the welfare of a child. "Because "criminally idiotic" isn't a crime." According to the executive director of Renaissance House.

This articles shows two different kind of people. The first one shows on how responsible she is in handling different situations in life. Then, in the second article; the teen parents and the grandfather show immaturity, and the lack of parental guidance. This wants us to learn our lesson to be responsible

enough in our actions. If we are able to be responsible, we are going to be more succesful and live a happy life without regrets.

Pam Rehart stated in her blogpost that, "I'm trying to make as many memories as I                                                                 can and make all my moments count,"

I am inspired of this quotation, because as i read her story on the first article I can really imagine how happy she is when we overcome all the struggles that came in her life. I also wish that I can be her, being succesful. And having fun in life. I will make all the memories that I can with my loved ones. Again, we are being reminded not to waste each time of our life.
