Blogpost 4: "YOLO in a Good Way"

YOLO is being defined by everyone as a bad influence for the people specially to the teenagers. We see people now a days enjoy having fun in a wrong way. But now let's look at the other side. The people and the ways on how YOLO can also be in a good way.

The first article I've read is titled The Yolo Effect by Tony J. Washington in positiveatmosphere.com. This blog promotes the good intention of the phrase YOLO. The author explained that YOLO will help us to live better. If we choose the things that we like to happen in our life. We should also not waste our time in doing things that makes us upset. He also stated that "At the end of the day we all have one life to live and we shall live only once (on earth anyway). Start today by asking yourself why and then get busy modifying and changing what needs to channge."

The second article I read is titled YOLO Make It Count  by Kara Wheat in achieveguidance.com. In this article the author shared her thought regarding this phrase. She read an article that says; "There were 80 millions Millennials born between 1976 and 2001. This means three are tons of us out there and we have the potential to transform used phrase and make it into something good and positive." She also shared some examples on how Millennials are taking action around the world. She stated a story of a girl named Sara Hooker who has HIV/AIDS. But inspite of her illness, she didn't stop being productive. The author wants to tell us that nothing should stop us for our success.
Regarding from those articles, I felt happy that there are people who is pursuing the goodness that is within the phrase YOLO. There should be no hindrances that can ruin our dreams. Instead, we should start to make the move and be wise enough to think what is the right thing to do. We should be also inspired for those people that even though they have illness they are still fighting fo the right advocacy. That will help not only themselves but also those people that surrounds them. So for us that is  lucky enough to have a normal life,we should be productive more than them. And accompanied with that, we should not underestimate there capabilities.

Tony J. Washington stated in his blogpost that, "You oughta be able to be “you,” doing “you” in the ways that make “you” the most happy!  YOLO my friends, YOLO!"

This quotation reminds us that, happiness is a choice that requires effort at times. Efforts that can help us to be more productive and successful. We should be wise and responsible enough in handling different situations. And if the time came that we have to encounter struggles in life, we should not make a permanent decision that can ruin our personality. So that in the end we will not have regrets just lessons learned.
